Adult Formation

A life of faith is not a destination but an ongoing journey. Trinity offers a variety of programs for adults who want to go deeper — in scripture, in prayer, in community, and in service.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Forums

Sunday Forums are one of Trinity's most beloved traditions of adult formation. Held most Sundays at 9 AM — between the 8 and 10 AM services — they bring the congregation together for presentations, conversations, and panel discussions on a wide range of topics: theology, history, social justice, parish life, and the intersection of faith with the pressing questions of our time.

Recent forums have explored topics ranging from the history of the Book of Common Prayer to climate justice, from the Dead Sea Scrolls to how Trinity is discerning its future through Vision 150.

All are welcome — no prior knowledge required, and every perspective is valued.

"The best part of Sunday morning is often the conversation in the forum — the kind you can't have anywhere else."

Sunday Forums fill the Parish Hall with wide-ranging conversations about faith, life, and the world — typically followed by the 10 AM Eucharist.

Midweek Worship

Wednesday Noonday Prayer

Every Wednesday at noon, a small community gathers online for a quiet, contemplative prayer service. The midweek service offers a different rhythm from Sunday worship, with space for silence, intercessory prayer, and reflection. The service is streamed live on our Facebook page and also available via Zoom — call the church office at 978-369-3715 for the Zoom link.

Many parishioners find the Wednesday service to be a spiritual anchor in the middle of a busy week. It is a simple, beautiful service centered around the liturgy and the gathered community, in the presence of God.

Additional Opportunities

More Ways to Grow

Beyond the regular programs, Trinity offers several smaller gatherings and ministries for adults who wish to go deeper in particular ways.

📖
Bible Study & Small Groups

Small group Bible studies form and re-form throughout the year, often organized around the lectionary, a particular book of scripture, or a theme of parish interest. These groups are informal, discussion-based, and open to anyone curious about what the Bible actually says — and what it means for life today. Watch the weekly e-newsletter (The Window) and the bulletin for current offerings.

Healing Prayer Ministry

Trinity has a trained and dedicated Healing Prayer Ministry. Prayers for healing are offered on the first Sunday of each month during the 10 AM service and are available to anyone in the congregation or community carrying illness, loss, or a need for God's touch. The ministry is grounded in the Anglican tradition of healing prayer as described in the Book of Common Prayer.
