Faith in Action
Trinity's Outreach Committee meets regularly to direct financial support and hands-on engagement toward organizations addressing homelessness, food insecurity, and educational inequity — from Concord and the greater Boston area to Afghanistan and Rwanda. In 2025, Trinity allocated $40,000 across food, housing, education, and international organizations.
We organize volunteer events throughout the year so parishioners of all ages can get involved directly. Whether you prefer to dig in a farm field, build a bed, pack food, or mentor a new neighbor — there is a place for you.
Local
This Concord-based farm grows and donates nutritious local produce to neighbors in need. Trinity volunteers join the annual Gaining Ground volunteer day, working alongside community members to bring fresh, healthy food to local food pantries and hunger-relief organizations.

Trinity makes regular donations to two food pantries serving our neighbors — the Acton Food Pantry, which serves surrounding towns including Concord, and the Bedford Food Bank. Together they distribute hundreds of thousands of pounds of groceries, fresh produce, and household essentials each year to families facing food insecurity in our region.

Based locally in Concord, Concord Prison Outreach is the largest organization of its kind in Massachusetts, offering transformative programs in arts, vocational skills, restorative justice, and family support to incarcerated people across the state. Trinity is proud to provide financial support for CPO's mission of building human connection and expanding opportunity within prison walls and beyond.

Founded in 1969, Pine Street Inn is New England's largest homeless services provider, supporting more than 2,400 individuals daily through emergency shelter, street outreach, housing with support, and workforce development. Trinity supports Pine Street's mission of moving people out of homelessness and into stable housing and community.

Open Table's mission is to end hunger in our community through pantry and meal programs. Trinity supports an ongoing food collection throughout the year, bringing healthy food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity in Concord and surrounding towns.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Boston's South End is a diverse, multi-generational community whose youth programs and community organizing are a model of faith in service and the struggle for justice. In 2024, Trinity hosted 110+ children and young adults from St. Stephen's B-SAFE summer enrichment program at Kimball Farm.

In partnership with Build-A-Bed (Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless), Trinity provides financial support and hands-on volunteer labor, assembling 10 beds in 2025 for children of homeless families in the greater Boston area who would otherwise sleep on the floor.

The Many Angels Needed Now and Always (MANNA) program at St. Paul's Cathedral in Boston serves the unhoused and unstably housed community of downtown Boston. Every month, Trinity volunteers provide food for MANNA's Monday lunch program. MANNA also offers a variety of other support services (writing programs, meditation, warm clothing, and singing on the front steps of St Paul's) creating a vibrant community spirit.
Diocese
Through the Afghan All Hands On Deck (AHOD) initiative, Trinity and the Diocese support Afghan evacuees resettled in Lowell and New Hampshire. Volunteers host biweekly community gatherings, support the Sewing Seeds for Hope sewing cooperative (now a 501(c)3), provide English tutoring and transportation, and organize a congregation-wide diaper drive each Advent.
International
Since 2011, Trinity has supported Maranyundo Girls School in Nyamata, Rwanda through our annual Lenten Mite Box collection. In 2024, an Outreach Committee grant of $4,000 provided laptops for girls entering high school, and $1,719 in Mite Box funds supported scholarship tuitions for two students.
International
With headquarters in Concord, the Creative Life Foundation works in Thailand to break generational cycles of poverty and prevent human trafficking by connecting vulnerable children and families to education, holistic care, and a path to citizenship. Trinity supports CLF's mission of creating lasting pathways to freedom for those most at risk.
