Our Episcopal tradition, through the Book of Common Prayer, assumes that we are praying every day. The Daily Office provides services of Morning Prayer, Noonday Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Compline, as well as short Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families which you are encouraged to pray at home.
We gather in the Chapel at Trinity Church to pray three services on Wednesdays: 9 am Morning Prayer, Noonday Prayers at noon, and Evening Prayer at 4 pm. All are invited to join and to bring friends and neighbors. In this time in our world of so much divisiveness and discord, our prayers join in the stream of people throughout the world and throughout history who cry out to the One God who created us and sustains us through all things. We are blessed to have these services, prayers, and psalms which we pray with one voice.
What would it mean to be a community of prayer, inviting the whole town to join us?
What might it mean for you to integrate your work week with your prayer life?
How could your Bible Study at 11 am on Wednesdays be deepened by prayer before or after?
What else can we do so people know Trinity Church in Concord as a community of prayer?
