Stations of Holy Week

The Stations of Holy Week will be available in the Chapel. Come, remember and reflect on the Passion Story.

Here’s a sneak peek of the stations: Video of Holy Week Stations!

Invite your neighbors and friends to come during our public drop-in hours:

Thursday, April 18 from 4 – 7 pm

Friday, April 19 from 1 – 4 pm

Saturday, April 20 from 10 am – noon

This is not just for children. It’s for adults, too! All ages can ponder God’s profound love for us as Christ journeyed to the cross.  Nine interactive stations tell the Passion story: Jesus the King enters Jerusalem, Jesus’ Last Passover, Jesus is betrayed at Gethsemane, Pontius Pilate washes his hands, the Crown of thorns, Simon carries the cross for Jesus, Jesus is on the cross, Jesus is laid in the tomb, and the Tomb is empty. The stained glass drawing for each station comes from a children’s book, Easter, by Fiona French. Each station has a few lines of scripture taken from the King James Bible, a few age-appropriate wondering questions, and an experiential activity.  Allow at least a half hour to go through all the stations, but give yourself more time for a deeper experience.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
