Palm Sunday: Sunday, April 14 at 8:00 & 10:00 am
Women of the Passion: Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00 pm
Begin your Holy Week on Tuesday evening with a presentation of Katie Sherrod’s Women Of The Passion, A Journey to the Cross. Written in 2006, Women of the Passion gives female voice to the Easter narrative in a fresh, and deeply moving way. This will be the fourth year offering this service and we encourage both women and men to attend.
Tenebrae: Wednesday, April 17 at 7:00 pm
The word ‘tenebrae’ is Latin for shadows. The purpose of this service is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story. Scripture, chant, candles, and darkness – Tenebrae is an experience you will not forget.
Maundy Thursday: April 18 at 7:00 pm (childcare all ages)
Jesus shares his last meal with his friends and washes their feet. We join in that meal before stripping the altar and sitting watch in the Chapel through the night.
WATCH! The Chapel is kept open with the Reserved Sacrament from the end of the Maundy Thursday service, through the Good Friday service at noon. Those willing to “stay awake and watch” with Jesus can keep vigil by sitting watch in the Chapel through the night.
Good Friday: Friday, April 19 at 7:00 am and 12:00 Noon
Great Vigil: Saturday, April 20 at 7:00 pm
Easter Sunday, April 21 at 8:00 and 10:00 am
(Childcare at 10 am for age 4 and under)
Easter Egg Hunt following the 10 am service.
Remember to bring in your mite boxes.
