Register Your Campers for B-Cool! Day at Trinity – August 3rd!

On the first Friday in August, Trinity will host B-Cool! daycamp right on Elm Street!

This is the latest chapter in our shared story with our sister church – St. Stephen’s – whose mission is to maintain the health of underserved communities by helping school-age young people along the path to successful adulthoods.

Over 60 children (ages 6-11) from St. Stephen’s and Trinity, as well as adult staff, youth volunteers and YOU? will be with us for a one-day adventure to wear out the Parish House and our surrounding spaces!

Here is a partial list of options for how our campers can B-Cool rain or shine:

Oh DEAR: Drop Everything And Read

Tell Me Another One: Story telling

The Story of Me: Instant Autobiographies

Bluestone Canvas: Sidewalk Chalk Creations

Bend & Stretch! Yoga & Meditation

You’re All Wet: Water slide & games

Now We’re Cooking! Cooking Lunch and Baking Snacks

A Joyful Noise: B-Cool Anthem

Can You Dig It?: Dirt and Flower gardens

Popsicle Stand: Frozen fruit treats

Made in the Shade: Self Serve Sundaes on the Porch

We will gather small teams grouped by age to explore, invent and delight with room to spread out and shine! Trinity and St Stephen’s elementary school campers will move from station to station throughout the day, and older youth and adults will provide guidance and support for them as they go.

Trinity B-Cool! is but one way to bring us together across generations and traditions to strengthen and celebrate community with water, grass, dirt, art, rocks, music, dance and of course… cream. Calling all artists, musicians, athletes, chefs, bakers, exercise fanatics, ice cream servers, gardeners and anyone who delights in action and discovery – no need to bring anything but good cheer (and maybe a towel).
