Anne Winslow

In 1974, our family moved to Concord and since then I have been a member of Trinity Church. I love the community that is Trinity.

I have been privileged and enjoyed serving on a number of committees and groups, including the vestry, outreach, E.F.M. Cathedral soup kitchen, funeral reception (the last two I helped begin) the ’02 Profile Committee and various women’s groups. In addition, I have been on several Diocesan Committees including the Standing Committee, the Commission on Women in Ministry, and the Prophetic Ministry Commission. More recently, I served on the Concord Greene Condominium Association Board and now that I live in Carleton-Willard Village, I am Secretary of the Residents’ Association and thus a member of the Executive Committee.

My dear husband, The Rev. Professor Donald Winslow, died in 2000 after a long illness through which Trinity lovingly sustained and helped us. Our three children, Meg, Betsy and Scott live in New England (thoughtfully, for their Mother). Our seven grand children provide joy and challenge – one is a U.S. Marine, our only grand-
daughter is with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia, one works in Boston and aspires to graduate school and four are still in school.

I am honored to be asked to serve on this new Search Committee as we now, giving thanks for the past years with Tony, look to the future with a new Rector.
