Anne Umphrey joined Trinity Church soon after she moved to Concord. Born in St. Albans, VT, as a cradle Episcopalian she has found a worship home here.
She has had a variety of careers; in geology, in a yarn shop, in an animal hospital, and most importantly raising two children. She is now a grandmother, which is the very best! In mid-life she learned how to fly, bought a small helicopter, and started her own flying business taking up aerial photographers. Recently retired, she enjoys traveling, improving her own photographic attempts, and walking her dog. Over the years she has served as a Trustee of the Fenn School, as a director of The Aero Club of New England, and on the Boards of Directors of New England Helicopter Council and The Whirly Girls (woman helicopter pilots association). Currently she serves on the Board of Concord Park, an assisted living facility in West Concord.
At church, Anne has worked on the Trinity Fayre, and she likes very much being an usher greeting folks as they come to church. She is a member of the coffee hour team thereby satisfying her enjoyment of baking. She feels honored to serve Trinity on the Vestry.
